Ingredients:
- 500g calamari tubes, cleaned and scored
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
Paprika, cayenne pepper, cumin, salt, pepper, and lemon juice should all be mixed together in a small bowl with olive oil
This will make a marinade
Put the calamari tubes that have been cleaned and scored in a shallow dish
Pour the marinade over them
Cover all of the calamari with the sauce
Put the mixture in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to marinate
Warm the grill up to a medium-high level
Take the calamari out of the marinade and throw away the extra marinade
For two to three minutes on each side, or until lightly charred and cooked all the way through, grill the calamari tubes
Take it off the grill and put it on a platter to serve
Add chopped fresh parsley on top and serve hot
