Ingredients:
- 1 block of mozzarella cheese, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Coconut oil or avocado oil for frying
Instructions:
In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs
In another shallow bowl, mix almond flour, coconut flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper
Dip each mozzarella cube into the beaten eggs, then coat with the almond flour mixture, ensuring they are fully coated
Place the coated mozzarella cubes on a plate or tray and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to set
Heat coconut oil or avocado oil in a frying pan over medium heat
Once the oil is hot, carefully add the coated mozzarella cubes to the pan in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan
Fry the mozzarella cubes for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy
Remove the fried mozzarella bites from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil
Serve hot with your favorite keto-friendly marinara sauce or dip
