Individual Hot Citrus Puddings - Veganuary



You can enjoy these individual hot citrus puddings during Veganuary or whenever you're in the mood for a comforting dessert. When you mix orange and lemon flavors together, you get a zesty and refreshing dessert that's great for sharing.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup plant-based milk such as almond or soy milk
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp vegan butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 350F 182C

Grease four separate ramekins or pudding molds

Put flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl and mix them together

Mix in the melted vegan butter, maple syrup, orange juice, lemon juice, orange zest, lemon zest, plant-based milk, and orange juice

Mix everything together well

Spread the batter out evenly in the ramekins that have been prepared

Warm up the oven and put the ramekins on a baking sheet

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the puddings are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean

Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit before you serve it

If you want, you can serve it with a drizzle of maple syrup or a sprinkle of powdered sugar
